Straight answers
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Both kits are free, and there is no order to place. If a glove wins, we'll quote it next to what you pay now. If we can't beat that on price or on never running out, keep your supplier.
- Who gets a kit?
- One crew per company, for crews working in North or South Carolina: roofing, concrete and masonry, sitework and paving, framing, restoration, electrical and mechanical, and general contractors with field crews. Kits go out in small monthly batches starting December 2026, so requests are queued in the order they arrive.
- Are the gloves rated?
- Each tag shows the manufacturer's rating (for example ANSI/ISEA 105 cut level A4). Nothing goes on the MAYS shelf until a crew has field-tested it and the third-party test report is on file. OSHA does not approve or endorse products; your hazard assessment decides what your crew wears.
- What happens after the vote?
- We offer one case of the winner at an intro price, delivered. Say yes or no. Either way, your crew's vote goes into what we stock, and you get first call on the next field test.
- Can we do this in Spanish?
- Yes. The kit card is printed in English and Spanish, the WhatsApp line answers in both, and the person who delivers the kit speaks both.
